The first is the TemporaryResidence Transition stream for those who have held a 457 or 482 visa and have worked for the same employer sponsor in the nominated occupation for more than 3 years. Some 457 visa holders will apply for the Temporary Residence Transition stream after 2 years, and as each individual's circumstances are different, applicants who have worked for more than 3 years may wish to consult with one of our migration lawyers for details on applying for the 186 visa - Chua Tan Associates is one of Australia's best migration law firms. The second is the DirectEntry stream, which applies to jobs on the Medium and Long Term Strategic Skill List and requires applicants to have at least 3 years of full-time work experience and pass a skills assessment before applying for a visa.
