Notarising a Power of Attorney (Довіреність) and getting an apostille stamp (Aпостиль)

If you are currently living in Melbourne and have property or business in the Ukraine, you can sign a power of attorney (Довіреність) to appoint someone in the Ukraine to look after your property or business on your behalf. You should speak to a lawyer in Ukraine to prepare the Довіреність and ensure they advise you of the notarisation requirements so it can be used in the Ukraine. We can then notarise the power of attorney at our Melbourne CBD office. We can also arrange for the notarised power of attorney to be apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) if you want to save time and the hassle.

Notarising Australian Birth Certificates for the Ukraine

If you have a child who was born in Australia and you are originally from the Ukraine, you can register your child with the Ukraine Government. Your Australian birth certificate would be issued by the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages of Victoria if your child was born in Victoria. You can prove your child’s birth to the Ukraine Government by notarising the birth certificate and applying to DFAT for an apostille stamp. Our Melbourne Public Notary has helped clients with notarising their child’s birth certificates for the Ukraine. We can also arrange for the notarised birth certificate to contain the apostille stamp (Апостиль).
If you want to notarise your child’s Australian birth certificate, you should order multiple copies of the birth certificate before booking an appointment or we can certify copies of the original birth certificate.
