Melbourne Notary Public Services For UAE

Authentication and legalisation services for UAE

If you are in Melbourne and are sending documents to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), you need to first have your documents notarised by a notary public, authenticate the notarised document with DFAT and then legalise the document with the UAE Embassy in Canberra. Our Melbourne Public Notary has notarised many documents for the UAE including birth certificates, marriage certificates, education qualifications and powers of attorney as well as commercial documents such as company documents and agreements. In this respect, any document that is not the original will need to be notarised and documents made by your overseas lawyer or yourself will also need notarisation. In general, a Justice of the Peace cannot notarise documents for overseas use. If you fail to authenticate your notarised documents by DFAT then then it cannot be legalised by the UAE embassy and therefore cannot be valid in the UAE. Our notary public regularly assist clients to notarise documents for the UAE and are well recognised by DFAT and foreign embassies in Australia.

Notarisation of prescription medication for UAE

If you are in Melbourne and are travelling or passing through the UAE with prescription medication, you need to ensure the medical documentation and prescriptions are properly notarised, authenticated and legalised to be valid. Our Melbourne Public Notary regularly assists people who take prescription medication with notarising their documents for travel. You should plan well in advance the notarisation of documents to avoid complications, especially if you are travelling to multiple countries in the Middle East. In this respect, each country has their own laws and there are many substances which might be illegal outside of Australia. You should confirm the lawfulness of your medication in the destination countries. The UAE requires proof of prescription which contains evidence from a doctor or hospital which has been verified by a notary public by contacting the prescribing doctor to verify the prescription. We will then notarise the prescription and get it authenticated by DFAT and legalised by the UAE Embassy in Canberra.
