Power of attorney to be used in India is important if you want to conduct business or family matters in India but cannot travel there so you appoint someone you trust to act on your behalf.

7. if administering an estate, provide full particulars of the deceased estate.

Some differences between Powers of Attorneys used in India may include.

  1. photographs of the Attorney, Donor and/or Executant. 
  2. placing signatures or a seal on the photographs.
  3. placing the signature at a specific location on the document.
  4. where our notary public seal is placed in the document.
  5. the number of independent witnesses required for your document.
  6. Whether you need to include your thumbprint or fingerprint is required on the document.
  7. Whether you need a notarial certificate.
  8. what size and colour paper/duty paid.
