Very reliable lawyer. My first application was with an intermediary, but it didn’t get approved. Later, when my visa was about to expire, I found a law firm for advice. Although I was denied, I successfully appealed and got a 457 visa with the help of the lawyers at the law firm. I just got PR today. I really appreciate the lawyers’ help and their professionalism. I was skeptical at first due to a few bad experiences with lawyers and migration agencies, but after the initial consultation with Chit over the phone, all my doubts were cleared and I was delightfully surprised by his professionalism and knowledge. Even after engaging with Chua Tan Associates, the standard of their service did not disappoint - they were fast and efficient, provided consistent updates with my application, and promptly answered my many queries and doubts.
In addition, the cost of their services was very clear and reasonable – I liked the fact that they charged me in stages rather than a lump sum like they do in most migration agencies, as I liked to know what I was paying for and also with this way, I knew that they were still following up on my application (no such doubts now!). I came to Hong Kong with a tourist visa. In September 2018, I applied for the 188 visa through Ms. Tsai’s law firm. I found the fees reasonable and Ms. Tsai explained the application process and required documents very thoroughly. Since it involved a large amount of private documents, I did not use a general low-cost intermediary. Within two years, I successfully applied for the TR and everything went smoothly. I will recommend it to my friends.
