A new era of divorce rights for same-sex marriages in Australia

In the great quest for equality, Australia has ushered in reforms that extend divorce rights for same-sex couples. Since 9 December 2017, Australia has recognised the right of same-sex couples to apply for a divorce in Australia, even those married overseas.
